SAEC – Secure Purchase
Since 2010, Kvety.sk has been the holder of the SAEC – Secure Purchase certificate issued by the Slovak Association of Electronic Commerce.
The SAEC Certified Shop – Secure Purchase provides the online customers with a guarantee and the merchant’s commitment to comply with the basic rules of secure and trouble-free shopping set by the certification rules.
Certification commitment
The certified merchant commits to provide customers with:
a.
complete and truthful information about the operator of an online shop (registration number and address of the merchant, the responsible person contact, etc.),
b.
complete and truthful information about the ordering process, delivery terms and manner of processing the order (method of goods or services delivery, transportation cost, payment options, etc.),
c.
complete and truthful information about the goods or services and about pricing including all charges,
d.
the method and conditions of the claim of goods or services,
e.
the method of communicating with the customer (email, phone...).
Who creates the certification rules
Certification rules are set by the Slovak Association of Electronic Commerce as an association of legal entities and the domestic authority for e-commerce. They are created on the basis of applicable laws – in particular the European Parliament and European Council directives on e-commerce, the Civil Code, the E-commerce Act, the Consumer Protection Act and the certification rules of the EU. Certification rules require to provide the customer with sufficient information to make a purchase decision and make a secure purchase but at the same time do not burden the merchant with unnecessary requirements. The application of certification rules is subject to regular inspections at certified shops.
